Dominican singer and composer with advanced singing studies at the National Conservatory of Music (CNM).

With more than 15 years of career where she collaborates in various bands and genres, in March 2009 she debuts as a soloist with “Sabrina Estepan Interprets the Divas of Jazz” a concert in tribute to the most renowned American female Jazz performers of the first half of the twentieth century. The concert was performed at Casa de Teatro, with resounding success.

In 2011 he participates in the XV Festival Arte Vivo and in the concert “El Caribe es Jazz” in the framework of the IV International Music Congress (MIC IV) sharing the stage with internationally renowned jazz figures such as Giovanny Hidalgo, Poncho Sanchez, Sandy Gabriel, Crispin Fernandez, Manuel Tejada and Bobby Sanabria.

In 2013 he presented “Cibao Jazziao” at the Cultural Center of Spain in Santo Domingo, sold out and with excellent reviews from critics. In June of that year he was part of the line up of the “Fete de la Musique”, an international celebration sponsored by the French Government, which takes place in more than 120 countries.

His participations in DR Jazz Festival in 2011 and 2016 stand out. This festival also featured outstanding international jazz figures such as: Tia Fuller, Terri Lyne Carrington, Linda Oh, Joanne Brackeen, Patricia Zarate and Esperanza Spalding. In 2017 the renowned Cuban pianist, Latin Grammy nominated, Ernán López-Nussa invites her to sing with his band in the 3rd installment of the International Jazz Festival Restauración, in Santo Domingo.

“Crónica de Flor”, song interpreted by Estepan for the sound track of the movie “Cuentas por Cobrar” is WINNER as “Best Musical Theme” at the “Iris Dominicana Movie Awards 2017”.

The music video of this song also made it to the Grand Final of the “Various Artist Independient Film Festival” in Chicago, USA.
